MONTREAL 2005 INTERNATIONAL REGGAE FESTIVAL

JULY 15, 16 & 17, 2005

Saturday brought high expectations for Gregory Isaacs who last performed in Montreal some four to

five years ago. Isaacs a.k.a The Cool Ruler, delivered a heartfelt performance including his classics

Soon Forward and Night Nurse with the crowd singing in unison under his spell. Popular group Chaka Demus & Pliers started
off by warming up the crowd with enthralling melodies, especially with their megahit Murder She Wrote.

However, the night belonged to Morgan Heritage, who over the last few years were probably the most popular group

on the international scene. True to their past performances, the five brothers and sister closed out Saturday night with

their irresistible arsenal of popular hits. Event producer Cezar Brumeanu invites spectators and the media back for the 3rd

edition of the Montreal International Reggae Festival which will again take place on the same weekend, this
time on July 14th-16th at the Old Port of Montreal.
